2026 Audi SQ8 – What makes it special?
The new SQ8 is now available in India at a staggering price tag of Rs 1.78 crore (ex-showroom). It is a performance variant of the Q8, and it is positioned between the standard Q8 and the RS Q8 variants.
The SQ8 features the ‘S’ spec exterior and interior changes. On the outside, it features the new grille, new bumpers, a new sporty aero kit, and brushed aluminium highlights on the trim. The SQ8 also features the 22-inch low-profile S-spec alloy wheels and quad exhausts.
On the inside, it resembles the standard Q8 in terms of layout and design. However, its sporty feel is accentuated by the S-spec steering wheel, S badging on the seats, floor mats, centre console, and door sills. The interiors feature the black quilted leather upholstery, and features like dual 12.3-inch screens, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless charging, massaging seats, and more.
Powering the SQ8 is a 4.0-litre, twin-turbo, V8 petrol engine that makes 500 bhp and 770 Nm of peak power and torque. It is paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and Audi’s Quattro AWD system. The SQ8 can sprint 0-100 km/h in 4.1 seconds.
