2026 Honda XL750 Transalp E-Clutch complete details
Honda has updated the XL750 Transalp adventure motorcycle in the US for MY26. The latest update brings with it the trademark E-Clutch clutchless gearshift technology as a standard offering.
Additionally, the 2026 XL750 Transalp now features an adjustable suspension for compression and rebound, along with a new aluminium skid plate. With that said, the rest of the motorcycle is unchanged.
Speaking of the E-Clutch, it is a clutchless gearshift technology that works in sync with the ride-by-wire throttle, detecting when the rider wants to shift the gears, further engaging the clutch at low speeds for easy operation in traffic, on loose surface riding, or during slow manoeuvres.
Unlike the DCT automatic transmission on the Africa Twin, the E-Clutch retains the conventional clutch operation, but allows the rider to make clutchless shifts, hence reducing the burden of a stressful traffic ride.
The 2026 XL750 Transalp continues to be powered by the 86 bhp, 755cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled motor that uses a 270-degree firing order for a smooth riding experience. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
We suspect that Honda will update the Indian-spec XL750 Transalp with similar upgrades in the coming months.
