Renault recently launched the new-gen Duster in India. The second-gen Duster is being offered with three engine options, with the 1.3-litre turbo petrol being the most popular among them. The French carmaker has now unveiled the official ARAI-tested mileage figure of the Duster.

2026 Renault Duster 1.3-litre turbo mileage details
Renault has announced the mileage figures of the Duster 1.3-litre turbo engine variants. This engine is offered with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed wet clutch DCT automatic gearbox options. As per the company, these variants offer the claimed economy as follows:
- 1.3-litre 6MT – 17.75 km/l
- 1.3-litre 6DCT – 18.45 km/l
With that said, the mileage figure of the Duster 1.3 Turbo is competitive with the rivals like the Skoda Kushaq 1.5 TSI and Volkswagen Taigun 1.5 TSI, which offer 18.72 km/l and 19.01 km/l, respectively, in their 7-speed DSG guise.
Meanwhile, the newly launched Tata Sierra 1.5 TGDi turbo petrol offers a very low mileage of 13.5 km/l on its 6-speed DCA automatic gearbox option. Moreover, the Hyundai Creta 1.5-litre turbo 7-speed DCT offers a claimed mileage of 18.4 km/l, thus positioning the Duster at a competitive scale.
Renault has scheduled the launch of the 1.8-litre hybrid Duster later this year, and we believe it will offer a high claimed mileage of more than 20 km/l. The 1.3-litre turbo engine is a Dailmer-sourced unit that offers 160 bhp and 280 Nm of power and torque.
