2026 Tata Punch EV facelift: Everything to know before buying
The new Punch EV facelift is now available nationwide at Rs 9.69 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated model features a new design that is more streamlined than before. The detailed variant-wise prices are as follows:
The front fascia features a new bumper with a protruding shape and new vertical LED headlamps. Gone are the piano black highlights on the grille and the connected LED lights, as the new design offers more maturity.
The side profile is unaltered, save for the new, bigger, wider mirrors and new dual-tone R16 alloy wheels with better aerodynamic capabilities. The rear-end is similar to the new Punch facelift, as it gets the connected taillights with black accents, and a new bumper with silver garnish.
The interior design and theme are mostly unchanged from the previous model. The new Punch EV facelift features a light and dark theme combo with the two-spoke steering wheel and 10.25-inch digital driver console.
The cabin features include a 10.25-inch touchscreen, ISOFIX seats, sunroof, wireless charging, ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, and a 360-degree camera. On the safety front, the top-spec variants get ADAS features.
Powering the new Punch EV facelift are two new battery options: 30kWh and 40kWh. The 30kWh battery pack will be offered on the base Smart and Smart+ variants only, and it delivers 365km of claimed range. Meanwhile, the 40kWh pack offers 468km claimed range, with 355km certified real-world range.
The 30kWh pack offers 88bhp and 154Nm, while the 40kWh offers 129bhp and 154Nm. The 40kWh options can sprint 0-100 km/h under 9 seconds. The charging support is also improved as it can be juiced 20-80% in 26 minutes via a 65kW DC charger.
The new Punch EV facelift bookings are now open, and the deliveries are expected to begin soon.
