Renault Kwid turns 10 with a Limited Edition and fresh variant lineup

Key highlights

  • Renault marks Kwid’s 10th anniversary with a Limited Edition dressed up in exclusive styling touches.
  • 2025 lineup gets reshuffled—fewer trims, smarter features.
  • Prices range from INR 4.69 lakh to INR 6.44 lakh (ex-showroom).

Renault India is celebrating a decade of the Kwid with a special 10th Anniversary Limited Edition. Hard to believe it’s been ten years since this little hatchback showed up and flipped the budget-car game on its head with SUV-inspired looks and segment-first features.

Over 5 lakh units later, the Kwid has carved out a legacy of being stylish yet affordable, and this anniversary edition is Renault’s way of saying, “Thanks for the ride so far.”

10th Anniversary Edition special

Based on the Climber variant, the Limited Edition adds just the right amount of flair without overdoing it. Highlights include:

  • Dual-tone paint with sporty decals
  • Blacked-out roof rails and ORVMs
  • Chrome detailing on the grille and tailgate
  • Special anniversary badging and contrast-stitched upholstery inside

No mechanical changes—it’s still the familiar 1.0L three-cylinder petrol, good for 67 PS and 91 Nm, paired with either a 5-speed manual or AMT.

The 2025 lineup: trimmed, tidy, and more value

Renault has also cleaned up the Kwid’s variant list for 2025. The refreshed lineup includes:

  • RXE 0.8L
  • RXL 1.0L
  • RXT 1.0L
  • Climber MT
  • Climber Easy-R
  • Climber 10th Anniversary Edition

Prices start at INR 4.69 lakh for the RXE and top out at INR 6.44 lakh for the Climber Easy-R. Safety kit is standard across the board—dual airbags, ABS, rear parking sensors, and seatbelt reminders. Higher trims add the 8-inch touchscreen with Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, LED DRLs, reverse camera, and remote keyless entry.

Our thoughts

The 10th Anniversary Edition isn’t about radical changes, it’s about celebrating a car that’s managed to stay cheeky, practical, and relevant for ten years straight. The Kwid still delivers more than its price suggests. It’s a car that wears its personality proudly.
