Maruti Suzuki e Vitara global export details

Maruti began the production of the e Vitara electric SUV in August 2025. The global production is taking place at the new Gujarat-based production facility. The company has started exporting the e Vitara to Europe and the UK since August itself.

Now, within two months of production, more than 6,000 units of the EV have been exported. As per the data, a total of 6,068 units of the e Vitara have been exported in August and September. Maruti has established this new plant to facilitate the global demands. The e Vitara is already on sale in Europe, while it will soon be exported to Japan.

Speaking of the Indian debut, the e Vitara was previously scheduled to launch by mid-2025. However, due to the rare earth material crisis, the brand has pushed the launch timeline to early 2026.

The e Vitara is likely to be positioned around Rs 20-25 lakh. It will be offered with two electric motor options: 49 kWh (FWD) and 61 kWh (AWD). The maximum range could be around 450-500 km.
