Honda V3R 900 E-Compressor – What is it?
The newly unveiled V3R 900 concept is a naked sportsbike that features the world’s first electronic compressor technology. Powered by an all-new 900cc, inline-three, liquid-cooled engine, this new tech boosts power by sucking more air through an electronically controlled compressor.
With the help of this new innovation, Honda has been able to fetch amazing power output levels and high torque at lower revs. Moreover, Honda claims that its 900cc E-Compressor engine generates performance equivalent to a 1,200cc engine, offering lightweight, cleaner emissions, and more refinement.
Honda plans to equip its future bikes with this engine, but it is still a work-in-progress. Meanwhile, the prototype showcased features of a streetfighter design with an upright riding position and a sculpted tank with the new Honda Wing logo – something that all future Honda bikes will get.
As of now, details like which bike will get this engine first and when it will launch are unknown.
