What to expect from the 2026 Maruti Brezza facelift?
The upcoming Brezza facelift was recently spotted at a CNG filling station once again. The test mule, which is likely to be the ZXI variant, gets the CNG stickers on the rear and front windshields, and an underbody CNG tank similar to the Victoris.
The camouflaged test car had some interesting bits, including the new 16-inch black alloy wheels, a revised front fascia with a new bumper and grille, and a revised rear bumper. Meanwhile, the slight glimpse of its interiors shows a new infotainment screen and possibly a new digital console – likely to be carried from the Victoris.
However, the biggest change, which is rumoured online as well, is that the CNG Brezza facelift will get a new 1.2-litre engine. The downsizing is likely to save the Brezza CNG from the high taxation that is imposed on petrol engines above 1.5-litre in the new GST 2.0 tax cycle.
Although we are unsure whether these rumours are true or not, the Brezza CNG is most likely to get the underbody CNG tank like the Victoris, which will offer more boot space to customers.
As far as the launch is concerned, we are expecting the new Brezza facelift to launch by the festive season of 2026. The pricing is likely to be revised slightly.
