Tata Motors has been testing the upcoming Punch facelift on the road for a long time. The test car duo has been recently spotted together in a near-production guise. Read below for the complete details.

What to expect from the 2026 Tata Punch facelift?
The updated Punch facelift is scheduled to be launched next year in India. The recent spotting of the test car duo has revealed new design details.
As visible in the spy shots, the front of the new Punch is going to receive a similar design flow to the Nexon and its EV counterpart. The sleek LED DRLs are positioned high, while the new projector headlights are embedded in the new bumper with an aerodynamic design.
Following the same design flow, the rear of the Punch facelift will also get a set of new connected LED taillights, a new bumper, and a revised boot. The integrated spoiler on the roof will be offered on the mid and top variants.
The side profile looks largely similar to the existing car, but it does get the bigger ORVMs with a 360-degree camera and the new alloy wheels. The front test car bears the CNG sticker and a dual-tone exterior colour profile.
As far as the interiors are concerned, the earlier spy shots have revealed a new dashboard with a new two-spoke steering wheel, a floating infotainment screen, a new digital console, a new centre console, and features like dual-tone leather upholstery, wireless charging, etc.
Tata will keep the Punch facelift mechanically unaltered. It will continue to be offered with the 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.2-litre CNG engine options with the 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT transmission options.
The expected launch time of the Punch facelift is by mid-2026. We assume that it wll be priced above the current model due to the new features and updates.
