What to expect from the 2026 Tata Punch EV facelift?
Tata Motors has released the first official image of the upcoming Punch EV facelift model. The updated EV is scheduled to launch in India on February 20 with new exterior design updates and more features on the inside.
As seen in the official photo, the nose design has been updated with the new bumper and new LED headlights. Moreover, the front now omits the black connecting stripe between the LED DRLs and the full-width LED lightbar. The updated design looks more mature and sophisticated.
Meanwhile, the official image shows a new yellow colour, which looks identical to the Harrier’s Sunlit Yellow shade. Additionally, it now features a set of updated, more aerodynamic alloy wheels, which look inspired by the new Nexon EV. While the rear design has not been shown, we believe it will be similar to the Punch facelift, offering a set of new connected LED taillights and a revised bumper.
On the inside, Tata could possibly equip it with a bigger 12.3-inch infotainment console, with a new OS and AI-assisted features. Additionally, it could offer a Level 2 ADAS safety suite, which would expand its safety further.
We expect the facelifted Punch EV to remain mechanically unaltered. It will continue to be offered with 25 kWh and 35 kWh battery options. The ARAI-certified range of these is 265 km and 365 km, respectively.
Pricing-wise, we believe that it will sit slightly above the current model, which is priced at Rs 9.99-14.44 lakh, ex-showroom.
