Why have the Honda CBR650R and CB650R been axed?
Honda Big Wing has removed the CBR650R and the CB650R models from its official website. The brand has discontinued these models, which were relaunched in early 2025 with the E-Clutch technology.
The primary reason behind this discontinuation is Honda’s limited allocation of big-capacity motorcycles. The brand has a strategy, which allows only a handful of the big capacity motorcycles, which are then axed/discontinued when the lot is sold out.
However, it is mostly a temporary discontinuation, and we expect that the 650cc inline-four duo will return either later this year or early next year. With that said, Honda has also axed the X ADV maxi scooter.
The last recorded price of the CB650R E-Clutch was Rs 9.60 lakh, while the CBR650R E-Clutch was priced at Rs 10.40 lakh, both ex-showroom. Meanwhile, the X ADV maxi scooter was priced at Rs 11.90 lakh.
