  • Gets updated design, larger storage, and improved comfort
  • New TFT variant adds keyless system and 4.2-inch colour display

Suzuki has updated one of its most recognisable scooters in India. The 2026 Burgman Street is here, and it starts at Rs 1.02 lakh ex-showroom. The scooter gets some design changes and feature updates.

Still the same idea, just more polished

The Burgman Street has always been about one thing. Comfort with a bit of style. The new model builds on it with a sharper design. Suzuki calls it sleek modern. You get curvier body panels, cleaner lines, and a more premium road presence.

The split LED headlamp setup looks neater now. The smoked windscreen and metallic badges add a bit of attitude. It still looks like a maxi-scooter, but now with better attention to detail.

Comfort and practicality remain the core

Suzuki has not messed with what works. The long seat, relaxed riding posture, and flexible floorboard continue. You also get dedicated front footrests, which Burgman owners swear by on longer rides.

Storage has improved too. The underseat space now stands at 24.6 litres. There is also a bigger 5.5-litre fuel tank now.  Small things like the tail-mounted fuel lid and aluminium pillion footpegs show that Suzuki has paid attention to everyday usage.

Engine stays familiar, and that is fine

Powering the new Burgman Street is the same 124cc engine based on Suzuki’s SEP platform. It produces 8.4 PS and 10.2 Nm. While the power remains the same, the torque has gone up. This motor, derived from the new Access is known for being smooth, efficient, and easy to live with.

Suzuki has tuned it for better low and mid-range performance. That should help in city riding, where most of these scooters spend their lives.

Tech gets a noticeable upgrade

The standard Ride Connect variant continues with connected features. But the new TFT variant steps things up. It gets a 4.2-inch colour TFT display. You also get a keyless system with an answer-back function.

That pushes the Burgman into a more premium space. Not many scooters in this segment offer that kind of tech. Other features like USB charging, easy start system, and side stand interlock continue as expected.

Variants and pricing

Suzuki is offering the new Burgman Street in two variants. The Ride Connect Edition starts at Rs 1,01,944. The Ride Connect TFT Edition goes up to Rs 1,13,220. Both prices are ex-showroom Delhi. The scooter will be available across dealerships from April 8, 2026. The Burgman Street EX will continue to be on sale at Rs 1.07 lakh.
