Kinetic has upgraded its electric DX scooter with a larger battery and more range, while retaining the familiar metal-bodied design that made the original Kinetic DX a popular name among Indian commuters.
What’s new?
The biggest change comes to the DX+, which now gets a 3.1 kWh LFP battery. It offers a claimed 132 km IDC range, while the company quotes a real-world range of 105-110 km. The battery is paired with a 3.8 kW peak-power hub-mounted BLDC motor.
The DX+ also gets K-Coast Tech, which recovers energy during deceleration. Charging from 0-80 percent takes approximately three hours, while an Easy Charge system is designed to simplify the charging process. The scooter also gets Range and Power riding modes.
Practicality remains a key part of the package. The DX+ features 37 litres of under-seat storage, 165 mm of ground clearance and 12-inch tubeless tyres at both ends. It also gets Park Assist with Reverse, IP67-rated water and dust protection, a 220 mm front disc and 130 mm rear drum brake.

The DX+ includes retractable charging cable and telematics as standard. It is available in Black, Silver, Blue, White and Red, while the DX 3 kWh gets Black and Silver options.
Kinetic is also offering festive benefits, including Rs 3,000 on the DX+, an Rs 8,999 extended warranty, Rs 5,000 Amazon cashback and a Rs 5,000 PME drive benefit.
Final thoughts
The larger LFP battery, useful storage and familiar metal-bodied design give the DX+ a practical identity in an increasingly crowded electric scooter market.
