Bajaj is soon going to give the Pulsar N250 a substantial upgrade in the form of the ‘SS’ version. The upcoming Pulsar N250 SS version was recently spotted by a content creator at a dealership. The new SS version will add a new gearbox and new electronics to the Pulsar N250, which has been long overdue for an update.
Bajaj Pulsar N250 SS: What to expect?
As seen in the video posted online, the new Pulsar N250 SS, aka Sports Shifter, was spotted at a dealership yard in a showroom-ready avatar. The black-and-red motorcycle features an identical design to the previous Pulsar N250, but it now boasts a new paint shade with aggressive graphics and contrasting red alloys and red pillion grab rails.
While visually it remains more or less the same, it is the new 6-speed gearbox that has all our attention. The previous Pulsar N250 came equipped with a 5-speed gearbox that offered a good low-end and mid-range punch, but it lacked the highway versatility. The new gearbox will add more spacing between the gears, thus giving more freedom on the highway.

The updated bike also features the new 5-inch coloured TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity and Google Maps mirroring. Additionally, the ride modes package has now been extended to five modes: Sport, Road, Rain, Off-Road, and Tour. Meanwhile, its 249.07cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine is likely to remain unchanged, but we can expect a slight increase in the power and torque figures.
The reporting source also claims that the dealership has pointed to Rs 1.60 lakh as the launch price for the new Pulsar N250 SS, but we can only wait for the official announcement for the actual price confirmation. We are expecting Bajaj to launch the new Pulsar N250 SS in the coming days.
