Benelli has introduced the new TRK 552X adventure-tourer motorcycle in India at a starting price of Rs 7.74 lakh (ex-showroom). The new TRK 552X replaces the TRK 502X and offers a bigger engine with more power and torque, redesigned hardware, and a new electronics package.
Benelli TRK 552X: What is new?
The newly launched TRK 552X comes with a host of changes. The significant change or upgrade is its new, bigger engine. The bike now gets a 554cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled motor, which offers 52 bhp and 49 Nm. This is an upgrade of 6 bhp and 3 Nm from the outgoing TRK 502X. Meanwhile, this new engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox that comes with a slip-assist clutch as standard.
Moving on, the new TRK 552X comes with a brand new 5-inch coloured TFT instrument console. This new screen not only adds a fresh user interface, but it also offers navigation maps via phone mirroring. Additionally, the rider can switch between ride modes and traction control via the screen. Other features include Bluetooth connectivity that adds SMS and call alerts on the go, along with music controls.
The TRK 552X rides on a 19-inch front and a 17-inch rear tubeless spoked rim setup. Benelli has added new Metzeler tyres for improved grip. Another upgrade is the new 50 mm Marzocchi upside-down fork setup at the front. Meanwhile, the bike continues with its preload-adjustable rear monoshock setup.
Benelli engineers have also made a slight change to the chassis. The new TRK 552X comes with an aluminium swingarm that has been added to improve handling and stability. This new swingarm also helps with weight saving.
With that said, the new colourways and graphics are the cherry on top of the cake. The overall styling of the TRK 552X matches the outgoing TRK 502X.
Benelli commenced bookings for the new TRK 552X on October 22, 2026. Deliveries are expected to begin shortly.
