Mahindra Scorpio N Pickup interior and feature details – What to expect?
The latest sighting of the Scorpio N pickup truck has come from the mountains in Manali. A test mule was spotted at a parking lot, where the leaked video has managed to get a good glimpse of its interiors, which were not revealed till now.
While the exteriors remain completely camouflaged, the cabin of the pickup version is similar to the Scorpio N SUV. In fact, the cabin seen here features a dual-tone tan, brown and black leather upholstery and the same dashboard and centre console as the Scorpio N itself.
There are other carried-over elements as well, which include the automatic gearshift lever that clarifies that there will be an automatic version, a similar three-spoke steering wheel to the current Scorpio N, a digital console, and a touchscreen infotainment screen. There is also a rotary knob for the 4WD drivetrain, including the electronically-locking differentials.
Moreover, there is an ADAS module underneath the interior rear view mirror. This, and the presence of the automatic transmission, suggest that this particular test mule is a fully-loaded variant. It also gets the Thar Roxx switches on the centre console, including the features like electronic parking brake button.
Meanwhile, the headliner features an electric sunroof, which means that it will become the most feature-rich pickup truck in India after launch. Mahindra is targeting to take a big bite from the sales of the Toyota Hilux, which is doing well despite its higher price tag. Mahindra’s weapon is its tried and tested 2.2-litre m-Hawk turbo diesel engine and aggressive pricing.
On the outside, the test mule is completely covered with the dummy lights. However, the spy video shows the 18-inch alloy wheels that look a bit different from the Scorpio N, and are wrapped in the Apollo Apterra tyres.
Speaking of the launch timeline, we believe that it will debut sometime in 2027. The expected price of the Scorpio N Pickup truck will be Rs 18-25 lakh.
