Mini Cooper has introduced a new special edition Cooper S in India, called the Victory Edition. The Cooper S Victory Edition is now available across all dealerships with bookings open. Read below what makes it special compared to the standard model.

Why is the Mini Cooper S Victory Edition special?
The new Mini Cooper S Victory Edition celebrates the iconic victory of the brand’s race car at the 1965 Monte Carlo Rally. The Victory Edition model is now available across India at Rs 57.50 lakh (ex-showroom). It will be sold as a CBU model, and that too in limited numbers.
So, what makes it special than the standard model? For starters, it comes painted red with a black contrasting roof and mirrors. Additionally, it features the white race decals inspired by the 1965 Monte Carlo race car, which also features ’52’ numbering on the doors and the rear panels. A white stripe also runs from the bonnet to the roof and ends at the boot. It runs on the JCW 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.
The interior of the Victory Edition features the special ‘1965’ badging on the seats and centre console. It also gets the JCW sports seats and Vesnic Black upholstery. Other features include the circular OLED instrument console and Harman Kardon sound system.
Powering the Cooper S Victory Edition is a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbo petrol engine that makes 204 bhp and 300 Nm of peak power and torque output. It is paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, and it can sprint 0-100 km/h in 6.6 seconds. The top speed of the Cooper S Victory Edition is rated at 242 km/h.
The pre-bookings of the new special edition Cooper S are now open, and the deliveries are expected to commence in the coming weeks.
