Renault India has finally launched the new-gen Duster. The mid-size SUV is now available at Rs 10.49-18.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Check its complete details below before buying.

2026 Duster engine specs
The new-gen Duster will be sold with three engine options: a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, turbo petrol developing 100 bhp and mated to a CVT automatic transmission, a 1.3-litre, four-cylinder, turbo petrol engine making 160 bhp and 280 Nm, mated to a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed DCT automatic transmission, and an upcoming 1.8-litre strong hybrid engine, which combines a 109 bhp petrol engine and a 20 bhp starter motor, developing a total output of 160 bhp and 172 Nm.
The strong hybrid engine is scheduled to debut around the Diwali 2026 festive season. Meanwhile, the turbo engine deliveries will begin from April 20, 2026, nationwide.
2026 Duster price details
The new-gen Duster is now available at Rs 10.49-18.49 lakh (ex-showroom). However, the brand is also offering an R-Pass to the initial customers till March 31, 2026. The R-Pass customers get special extended benefits and a lower price tag.
The 2026 Duster will be sold in five variants: authentic, evolution, techno, techno+, and iconic. The variant-wise price details of the new-gen Duster are as follows:
Design and dimensions
The Indian-spec Duster offers a unique design with rugged elements. The SUV features an extensive plastic body cladding work, with elements like flared wheel arches, dual-tone 18-inch alloys, and functional roof rails.
The front design gets the illuminated Duster lettering, along with the sharp LED headlamps and DRLs. The front bumper is equipped with a protruding silver highlight and a bash plate. Similarly, the rear is equipped with a connected taillight setup and a rugged bumper with silver garnishing.
In terms of size, the new-gen Duster measures 4,343 mm in length, 1,813 mm in width, and 1,659 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,657 mm. The boot space is rated to 518L.
Interiors, safety, and features
On the inside, it features a plush cabin with a rugged outlook. The black theme is accentuated by the comfortable leather upholstery, spacious seats, and plenty of storage spaces. The dashboard features a driver-centric design with a three-spoke steering wheel and twin screens.
In terms of features, the new-gen Duster gets the following:

Apart from the above features and engine specs, Renault is also offering a standard warranty of up to 7 years or 1.50 lakh km. The official bookings of the new-gen Duster are open, and the brand says that over 91% pre-bookings are for the turbo engine variants.
The new-gen Duster competes with the Tata Sierra, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, and the Hyundai Creta.
