Range Rover SV Edition Two price cut by Rs 40 lakh soon
As per a recent online report, JLR is soon going to cut the prices of the Range Rover cars in India. The price cut could be as massive as Rs 63 lakh on select models.
The reason behind the price cut is the India-UK FTA deal. This deal is likely to make the Range Rover SV Edition Two cheaper by Rs 40 lakh. The SV Edition Two is currently priced at Rs 2.75 crore, and it will drop to Rs 2.35 crore post the FTA prices come into effect.
Meanwhile, the flagship model, i.e. the SV 4.4P, is likely to witness a price drop of up to Rs 63 lakh, while the diesel SV is likely to become Rs 57 lakh cheaper due to the India-UK FTA deal.
However, the main aspect to note is that the price cut will be effective only for the models that are imported as CBU. Currently, only the SV range is completely imported, thus attracting 110% import taxes that are likely to be reduced to 30%, which is why it is expected to become cheaper.
With that said, this will become the second massive price revision by JLR. The brand had previously reduced the prices by up to Rs 30.40 lakh in September 2025 post GST 2.0 rates.
