Mahindra Bolero Special Edition: What to expect?
The Bolero moniker has entered its 25th year of production. To celebrate this remarkable feat, Mahindra is soon going to introduce a new special edition, which is likely to be called ‘Silver Jubilee’, and it is expected to launch soon.
The recently spotted test mule shows the Bolero completely camouflaged with almost no changes to its design. However, the wheel covers look distinctive, hinting at the cosmetic updates that the Silver Jubilee Edition will offer.
We assume that the upcoming Bolero special edition will be offered with new colourways and new features. The exterior design will feature attractive and retro-inspired graphics, while the interiors will get the latest features, likely introducing a touchscreen, leather upholstery, and more.
Mechanically, the Bolero 25th Anniversary Edition is likely to remain unchanged. It will continue to be offered with the 1.5-litre m-Hawk diesel engine that makes 75 bhp of peak power and 210 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a 5-speed MT gearbox and RWD.
The expected price of the special edition Bolero will be around Rs 11 lakh.
