The EV branch of Tata Motors has expanded its charging infrastructure with the help of Shell. The new expansion includes 21 new Mega Charging hubs launched in five cities in South India. Check out the complete details below.

Tata.EV and Shell India Mega Charging hubs inaugurated – Details

Tata’s latest stint in the electrification of the Indian car market includes the inauguration of 21 new Mega Charging hubs. These hubs have been inaugurated in partnership with Shell India, and they are spread over the important highway corridors in Bengaluru, Chennai, Pune, Mysuru, and Vadodara.

The Mega Charger hubs include multiple 120kW fast charging bays, which offer added benefits in charging rates to the Tata EV owners. Moreover, the dedicated hubs are operated by trained support staff and include the Shell Select and Deli2go outlets for all necessities. Moreover, all hubs are equipped with clean restroom facilities, while Tata EV owners can avail discounted rates on store item purchases.

With these new Mega Charging hubs, Tata EV now operates 130 charging hubs with DC charging facilities. The target is to introduce 4 lakh chargers, including 500 Mega Charging hubs by 2027.
