What to expect from the Hero Vida Ubex?
The latest design homologation image of the Vida Ubex electric motorcycle has surfaced interesting changes to the production-spec model from the previously shown concept model at the EICMA 2025. The upcoming model, which looked to be a supermoto due to its concept design, has translated into a streetfighter, city-oriented model.
The design homologation image shows that the bike packs a semi-aggressive riding posture, which is benefited by a spacious single seat and a wide tubular handlebar. Meanwhile, it does feature some design elements that resemble the concept, like the sculpted fuel tank, flat side panels, and a trellis subframe.
However, it packs the battery and motor together underneath the seat, which is supported by the trellis frame and basic hardware like the telescopic front suspension and a monoshock at the rear. Additionally, it has the 5-spoke rims, which are also identical to the concept model.
While the battery specs and other details are unknown about the Ubex, we suspect that it will be positioned against the entry-level premium electric motorcycle rivals like the Royal Enfield Flying Flea. The design patent also shows the modern cues like a V-shaped single projector headlight with a floating TFT console, which we suspect will offer features like ride modes, traction modes, navigation, and more.
As of now, the launch timeline of the Ubex is unknown. We suspect that a final production version could be showcased later this year.
