2025 Ducati Streetfighter V2 launched in India

Key highlights

  • Ducati launches the 2025 Streetfighter V2 and V2 S in India with prices starting at INR 17.50 lakh.
  • All-new 890 cc V2 engine makes 120 hp, making this the lightest and most agile Streetfighter yet.
  • Upgraded electronics, improved ergonomics, and premium suspension options underline its everyday usability.

Ducati has rolled out the 2025 Streetfighter V2 in India. The motorcycle arrives in two variants, the standard V2 and the higher-spec V2 S, priced at INR 17.50 lakh and INR 19.48 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. Both are available in Ducati Red, because of course they are.

The Streetfighter V2 follows Ducati’s now-iconic Fight Formula: take a Panigale, peel off the fairing, keep the aggression, and sprinkle just enough civility to ride it to work without reconsidering life choices. The result is a mean, compact, and surprisingly approachable machine for riders who want superbike DNA without the superbike intimidation.

Design and stance

The Streetfighter V2 looks like it’s permanently annoyed, and that’s a compliment. The concentrated mass at the front, signature LED DRL, and sharp bodywork all scream intent. Ducati has also given it newly designed six-spoke alloy wheels finished in black, which perfectly complement the bold red paint.

Ergonomics are more humane this time. The rider sits comfortably upright, supported by a well-shaped tank and a seat height of 838 mm. Adjustable levers, a wide handlebar, and thoughtfully placed foot pegs give riders confidence both in daily commutes and spirited weekend rides.

New engine, sharper performance

The big change sits at the heart of the bike. Ducati’s new 890 cc 90-degree V2 engine  their lightest twin-cylinder ever produces 120 hp at 10,750 rpm and 93.3 Nm of torque. More than 70% of that torque arrives just past idle at 3,000 rpm, which means the bike pulls cleanly without needing to scream all the time.

For riders who plan to take it to the track, Ducati offers a racing exhaust that bumps power to 126 hp and sheds 4.5 kg from the bike.

The six-speed gearbox comes with the second-gen Ducati Quick Shift 2.0 system, making shifts quicker and more precise.

Chassis, handling, and suspension

The bike uses a lightweight monocoque frame with the engine as a stressed member. The Streetfighter V2 weighs 178 kg wet, while the V2 S drops to 175 kg thanks to a lithium-ion battery and upgraded Öhlins suspension.

  • Streetfighter V2: Adjustable Marzocchi front fork and Kayaba rear shock
  • Streetfighter V2 S: Fully adjustable Öhlins NIX-30 fork and Öhlins rear shock

Braking comes via Brembo M50 monobloc calipers gripping 320 mm discs — more than enough to stop even your worst decisions.

Electronics and tech

As expected from Ducati, the electronics suite is extensive and track-derived. It includes:

  • Cornering ABS
  • Ducati Traction Control with predictive tech
  • Ducati Wheelie Control
  • Ducati Quick Shift 2.0
  • Engine Brake Control
  • Four riding modes: Race, Sport, Road, Wet

A 5-inch TFT screen offers three display modes tailored for different riding conditions.

Accessories and add-ons

Ducati will happily sell you accessories such as:

  • Lap Timer Pro
  • Cruise Control
  • Turn-by-turn navigation
  • USB power socket
  • Tyre pressure monitoring system

Because even a hooligan appreciates convenience.
