2025 Hyundai Venue, tech and safety features unveiled

Key Highlights

  • Hyundai debuts ccNC infotainment system powered by NVIDIA with dual 12.3-inch curved displays
  • Venue gets Level-2 ADAS with 16 advanced driver assistance features
  • Over-the-air updates for 20 vehicle controllers make it Hyundai’s first software-defined SUV in India

Hyundai Motor India has officially revealed the tech and safety arsenal of the all-new Venue. The compact SUV now packs features that were once reserved for premium segments, making it one of the most advanced offerings in its class.

At the heart of this upgrade is Hyundai’s Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC) system, powered by NVIDIA. It’s paired with dual 12.3-inch curved panoramic displays, one for infotainment and one for the digital cluster. Together, they create a cockpit that feels more spaceship than SUV.

Tech

The Venue now supports over-the-air updates for up to 20 controllers, meaning fewer trips to the service center and more time on the road. The infotainment system offers wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, built-in JioSaavn, and 400+ voice commands across five languages including Hindi, English, Hinglish, Bengali, and Tamil.

Other highlights include:

  • Bose 8-speaker premium sound system
  • Ventilated front seats
  • Voice-enabled smart sunroof
  • Surround View Monitor (SVM)
  • Electric 4-way driver seat
  • Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
  • Remote engine start and cooled glovebox

Safety

The 2025 Venue brings Hyundai SmartSense Level-2 ADAS, offering 16 features like:

  • Forward Collision Avoidance Assist (car, pedestrian, cycle, junction turning, direct oncoming)
  • Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go
  • Lane Keeping Assist
  • Driver Attention Warning
  • Parking Collision Avoidance Assist (Rear)

Beyond ADAS, the SUV packs 65+ safety features, with 33 standard across all variants. You get 6 airbags, ESC, hill-start assist, electric parking brake with auto hold, all 4-disc brakes, and a rollover sensor. The body structure uses 71% high-strength steel, ensuring solid crash protection.

Our thoughts

The new Venue is the kind of SUV that makes you want to sit in the driveway just to play with the screens. The dual display setup is slick, the ADAS features are useful, and the voice commands are a nice touch, especially if they understand Hinglish better than your relatives do.
