2025 Kawasaki Ninja 250, Z250 changes explained

The newly updated Ninja 250 and Z250 motorcycles have received cosmetic updates for MY25. The fully faired Ninja 250 is now available in two new colours with new graphics: Metallic Carbon Grey with Metallic Yellowish Green, and Galaxy Silver with Candy Persimmon Red.

Meanwhile, the Z250 is available with a single colourway only: Ebony with Metallic Carbon Grey. Both motorcycles remain unchanged in terms of design. The Z250 features an upright riding posture with its city-friendly naked design, while the Ninja 250 features a committed riding posture and a full fairing for high-speed riding.

Features on both bikes are more or less the same. These include a semi-digital console with Bluetooth connectivity, LED lights, dual-channel ABS, etc.

Powering both motorcycles is the 250cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled motor. It offers 34.5 bhp of peak power and 22 Nm of peak torque. This engine is paired with a 6-speed transmission and a slipper-assist clutch.

Both of the updated motorcycles will go on sale in Japan. Although Kawasaki might extend the launch to Indonesia and Thailand, but it is highly unlikely that the 250cc bikes will come to India any time soon.
