The MY26 Monster has undergone a massive update. The new-gen bike has ditched its old 937cc, Testastretta V-twin engine, and now gets an all-new 890cc V-twin engine sourced from the Multistrada V2.
This new 890cc unit is Euro5+ emission compliant and offers 109.4 bhp and 91 Nm of power and torque. It is mated to a 6-speed transmission and gets a six-axis IMU. Moreover, the valve clearance is now scheduled at every 45,000 km, which is going to improve the reliability.
Ducati says that the throttle response of the bike, especially at the lower rpms, has improved significantly, and it has become a lot smoother to ride in the city. It uses an all-new chassis, which embodies a new design with a sculpted fuel tank, a new oval LED headlight, and a sleeker rear section with a new taillight.
As seen in the spy shots earlier, the production-spec model of the new Monster is now equipped with a double-sided swingarm for better handling and a connected feel to the road.
In terms of features, it is loaded with a new TFT console, slide control, brake control, cornering ABS, ride modes, traction modes, and more. It also gets Bluetooth connectivity for ease of riding.
Ducati has positioned the new Monster at GBP 11,995 in the UK, which is approximately Rs 14 lakh. The deliveries are scheduled to commence from February 2026. Ducati is expected to launch the new Monster in India early next year.
