What is new on the 2026 Hyundai Exter facelift?
The updated Exter facelift is now available at a starting price of Rs 5,79,900 (ex-showroom). It is the first mid-life update of the micro SUV, featuring updated exterior design, new colours, and more features.
On the outside, it now gets a new grille, new 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, updated body cladding, C-pillar garnish, a roof-integrated spoiler, and an updated rear bumper. Hyundai has also added two new exterior colour options: Golden Bronze and Titanium Black Matte.
On the inside, it now features a new dual-tone Navy and Grey colour theme. The new additions include a driver armrest, metal pedals, and a new D-cut steering wheel. The new features include: electric sunroof, height-adjustable driver seat, Type-C charging ports for the rear passengers, adjustable rear headrests, Bluelink with over 60 connected features and 300 voice commands, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Mechanically, the new Exter is the same as the outgoing model. It features a 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated four-cylinder Kappa petrol engine mated to a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox. A dual-CNG 1.2-litre engine is also offered with up to 255 litres of cargo space.
