Kia India has begun the official production of the new-gen Seltos at its Anantapur-based production facility in Andhra Pradesh. Check out its complete details below.

2026 Kia Seltos launch soon – What to expect?
The new-gen Seltos is all set to launch in India on January 2, 2026. While the car has been completely revealed and its pre-bookings are also open, the price list will play a significant role in determining its success.
Meanwhile, the Korean carmaker has begun its production in India. We believe that its deliveries will start by the end of January 2026 in India.
Speaking of the changes, the new-gen Seltos is significantly bigger than the outgoing model. With its wider and longer size, it now offers more rear space and more cargo space.
Moreover, the cabin quality has taken a significant leap ahead, whilst it comes loaded with all bells and whistles that keep it right ahead of the rivals like the Mahindra XUV700 and Hyundai Creta.
However, it is mechanically unaltered. Although there are adjustments done to its steering feedback and the suspension for a more comfortable ride quality experience, it still gets the same 1.5-litre NA petrol, 1.5-litre turbo petrol, and the 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine options.
Kia has also revealed that the Seltos Hybrid will be launched in India by 2027.
