Maruti Suzuki is all set to reveal the mid-life facelift of the current-generation Brezza compact SUV in India on July 24, 2026. Days ahead of its official launch, its features and specification details have leaked online.

2026 Maruti Brezza facelift: What do we know so far?

As per the leaked details, the biggest update on the new Brezza facelift will be the introduction of the 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, turbo petrol Boosterjet engine sourced from the Fronx. It will offer around 109 bhp and 170 Nm, and it will only be offered with a 6-speed manual gearbox. Moreover, this engine option will be available in all variants, including LXI, VXI, ZXI, and ZXI+.

The biggest benefit of this engine will be a substantial reduction in the price of the new Brezza. The current model’s 1.5-litre engine attracts 40% GST, while the new Boosterjet will attract only 18% GST, which means that its prices will be lower than the current model. However, Maruti will also continue selling the 1.5-litre petrol engine with 5-speed MT and 6-speed AT gearbox options. The CNG option will also be offered as it is, but it will now offer the underbody CNG tank design like the Victoris, which means a fully usable boot space.

On the exterior, it will remain unchanged dimensionally. The new changes will be limited to the styling of the SUV, which will include the new LED projector headlights, a new grille, a new front bumper with vertically-stacked LED foglights, new 16-inch alloy wheels, new body cladding, and a new rear bumper.

The interior will also get new features, which will include the bigger 10.1-inch infotainment screen sourced from Victoris, a 64-colour ambient LED lighting system, ventilated front seats, new leather upholstery, wireless charging, automatic climate control, and more.

The updated Brezza facelift will be launched on July 24, and the new updates along with a smaller petrol engine will surely bring down its price.
