Skoda and Volkswagen have been testing the facelift version of their compact SUVs. The upcoming duo has been recently spied in Pune again. Check the details below.

2026 Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq: What to expect?
As seen in the photos, both test cars are draped in partial camouflage. The front and rear design has been cleverly covered, hinting at an all-new design.
Since VW has been updating its lineup globally with a new design, we believe the Taigun facelift will feature similar highlights, including new headlights, a new grille, and new bumpers, with revised taillights.
Similarly, Skoda is also likely to equip the new Kushaq facelift with a set of new lights, new bumpers, and a new grille. Both models will also get new 17-inch alloys, although with different designs.
On the inside, both models are likely to get equipped with a new dashboard, featuring the new, bigger console, and a bigger infotainment screen. More features, like the Level 2 ADAS, etc, are also going to be offered on both cars.
Mechanically, Taigun and Kushaq facelift models will remain unaltered. The 1.0 TSI and 1.5 TSI engine options will continue to be offered as it is, although with more refinement and improved fuel economy.
Speaking of the launch timeline, both models are likely to be introduced in India next year. However, the addition of new features will hike the prices.
