310 units, no second chances: BMW G 310 RR Limited Edition launched

Key highlights

  • BMW Motorrad India rolls out a G 310 RR Limited Edition, capped at just 310 units.
  • Gets exclusive graphics, numbered badging, and subtle race-inspired touches.
  • Mechanically unchanged, priced at INR 3.05 lakh (ex-showroom).

BMW Motorrad India has pulled the wraps off a Limited Edition G 310 RR, and this time, it’s not just a half-hearted decal pack. With production capped at only 310 units, this special edition is aimed squarely at riders who want exclusivity without jumping into superbike territory.

At INR 3.05 lakh (ex-showroom), it sits a notch above the standard bike. Bookings are already open, with deliveries set to begin in October across select BMW Motorrad outlets.

What makes it “limited”

No tweaks under the skin, but BMW has dressed it up for attention where it matters:

  • Unique livery with red, white, and black accents
  • Numbered edition badge on the fuel tank
  • Contrast seat stitching and rim stripes
  • G 310 RR branding etched into the windscreen and tail

It keeps the sharp fairing, twin LED headlamps, and aggressive stance we know from the standard model but, with an extra dose of flair.

Same heart, same punch

The Limited Edition runs the same setup as the regular bike:

  • 312.2cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine
  • 34 PS at 9,700 rpm and 27.3 Nm at 7,700 rpm
  • 6-speed gearbox with assist & slipper clutch
  • Ride modes: Track, Sport, Urban, Rain
  • Dual-channel ABS with USD forks & monoshock
  • 174 kg kerb weight with Michelin Pilot Street tyres

You also get the TFT console with BMW’s slick UI, which feels more premium than the numbers suggest.

Our thoughts

This is BMW doing BMW things, taking something familiar, making it look sharper, and instantly turning it into a collector’s piece. The G 310 RR Limited Edition isn’t about more power or new hardware. It’s about exclusivity, attitude, and bragging rights. The numbered badge gives it real credibility, the design tweaks add enough drama, and the pricing doesn’t go overboard.
