Key Highlights
- Hyundai teases redesigned front grille and lighting for the 2025 Venue
- New C-shaped LED DRLs and full-width light bar confirmed
- Launch set for November 4, with major upgrades inside and out
Hyundai has officially teased the 2025 Venue, and the first thing you’ll notice is the new grille, it’s bigger, bolder, and ready to make a statement. The teaser reveals a rectangular grille with chrome inserts, flanked by square-shaped LED headlamps and a C-shaped LED DRL strip that connects across the fascia. It’s a clear nod to Hyundai’s newer design language seen on the Alcazar and Exter, but with a distinct Venue twist.
The lower bumper gets chunky silver cladding, and the overall stance feels more upright and SUV-like.
What else we know
The 2025 Venue marks a full-generation update, six years after the original model hit Indian roads. Spy shots and leaks suggest a redesigned C-pillar, flatter door panels, and new alloy wheels. Inside, expect dual 12.3-inch displays, a new 3-spoke steering wheel, and a revamped climate control panel.
Hyundai is also packing a 360-degree camera, ventilated seats, and possibly a panoramic sunroof.
On the ADAS front, the new Venue is expected to offer Level-2 features such as lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, and blind spot monitoring, bringing it in line with rivals like the Kia Sonet and Tata Nexon.
Powertrain
The 2025 Hyundai Venue is expected to retain its current powertrain lineup, which includes the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, and the 1.5-litre diesel. Transmission options will likely include manual, iMT, and DCT depending on the variant. While no major mechanical changes are confirmed yet, Hyundai may tweak engine calibration for better efficiency and refinement.
Launch timeline and pricing
The new Venue will debut on November 4, with prices expected to start around INR 8 lakh and go up to INR 14 lakh (ex-showroom). Hyundai plans to produce the SUV in India and export it to key global markets, making this a big moment for the brand’s sub-4m SUV strategy.
