2026 Kia Seltos: Everything we know so far
The new-gen Seltos is scheduled to debut in South Korea on December 10. As speculated online, it will feature a new chassis, which will make it grow in size, especially length-wise.
Moreover, it will feature an all-new design, which shall be inspired by the 2027 Telluride. The front fascia will get the new, large vertical LED DRLs on the extreme ends, along with a new vertical slat grille, a new bumper, and new split LED headlights.
The busy design language is likely to continue on the side and rear as well. We are expecting a set of new LED taillights, a new tailgate, a more boxy overall shape, and new aerodynamic alloy wheels, along with the roof-mounted spoiler, as its main design traits.
Kia will also revise the cabin design with a new dashboard that will feature a curved connected screen display, a new three-spoke steering wheel, redesigned centre console, new seats, and more rear space due to the longer wheelbase.
In terms of features, it will get modern tech, including the Lidar-based new safety features and improved chassis strength. Other key features will include the HUD, dual-pane sunroof, wireless connectivity, a dual-zone AC, and more.
Powering the new-gen Seltos will be the current engine options. However, online reports suggest a new petrol-hybrid engine to debut as well. This new engine is likely based on a 1.5-litre petrol motor, and will offer high fuel economy figures.
Kia will launch the new-gen Seltos in India in 2026. It will be priced above the current model.
