Mahindra XUV 7XO AX9 L top variant details
With the new name, the XUV 7XO will also bring along new variants. The upcoming SUV has been spied in its top-spec avatar with new beige-tan dual-tone leather upholstery and new features. It is likely to be called AX9 L, and we expect that an AX9 variant will also be positioned below it.
Speaking of the changes, it features a triple-screen display that we saw on the XEV 9S recently. It also gets the new two-spoke steering wheel with tan and black leather. The dashboard, door pads, and the seats also feature the new tan colour leather.
Other visible features include the ventilated seats, wireless charging, ADAS module, a digital console with new UI, electronic parking brake, etc. We expect a lot of the features on this will be carried forward from the XEV 9S itself, including the Boss Mode.
As it is a mid-life facelift, the SUV will remain mechanically unchanged. It will continue to be offered with the 2.0-litre turbo petrol and the 2.2-litre turbo diesel engine options, paired with the 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox options.
The expected pricing will be higher than the XUV700 due to the new design and new feature additions. The launch is expected in January 2026.
