Tata Motors has announced a new feat in the electric passenger vehicle segment. The brand has sold over 2.50 lakh electric cars since the launch of its first EV in 2020. Check all the details below.

Tata Motors EV sales rise, bright future ahead?
Tata launched its first electric car in 2020 in the guise of Nexon.ev. Ever since, Tata has been consistently expanding the EV portfolio, with a current stable of six models.
Since 2020, a total of 2.50 lakh EVs have been sold by the brand, which includes 1 lakh Nexon.ev cars. In fact, Nexon.ev crossed the 50,000 sales milestone in June 2023, and the rest of the cars were sold in the previous two years.
Speaking of the portfolio, Tata has an electric alternative for every ICE model, except for the Altroz and Safari. Tata’s EV range starts from Rs 8 lakh with the Tiago.ev and goes up to Rs 30 lakh with the Harrier.ev. Tata also offers an AWD drivetrain on the electric Harrier.
Speaking of the future plans, Tata’s next electric car is going to be the Sierra EV. Meanwhile, Tata is also working on the expansion of its charging portfolio with an aim of setting up 30,000 charging points by the end of 2027.
