Renault is all set to introduce the new-gen Duster in India soon. The upcoming SUV was recently seen parked roadside in Chennai, revealing its India-specific design. Read below for more details.

2026 Renault Duster: Everything we know so far
The new-gen Duster will mark its Indian debut on January 26. The French carmaker will reintroduce the iconic compact SUV in its latest avatar with a new and modern design and a more capable powertrain setup.
The latest spotting of the completely camouflaged test car shows that it will feature a few India-specific design changes. The butch and rugged design of the panels seems to be more ironed out for a streamlined look.
The front of the test car has the sharp LED lights with an upright bumper design with a horizontal slat grille. Moreover, the side profile is equipped with functional roof rails and 17-inch alloy wheels.
However, the rear of the car is tightly covered so that no design changes get revealed. We suspect that the rear-end will get a new Y-shaped LED taillight and slight changes to the bumper as compared to the international model.
On the inside, the new Duster is likely to feature a driver-centric cabin design with black upholstery and features like the floating infotainment screen and a digital console. Renault is likely to offer the Indian-spec model with the 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine with mild-hybrid tech. Rumours are that the top variants will get an AWD option as well.
Since the car will debut later this month, we suspect that it will be priced aggressively against the rivals like the Hyundai Creta. The expected price of the 2026 Duster is Rs 11-18 lakh.
