Just days before the official launch announcement, KTM’s latest entry-level sportsbike, the RC 160, has started to reach the dealerships. Check below every detail that you should know before buying it.

KTM RC 160 – Everything you should know
The new RC 160 is soon going to be officially launched in India. However, the new entry-level KTM sportsbike has already started reaching dealerships across India. A latest video posted online, shows every detail, including its price and features.
As per the source, the bike is priced at Rs 1,85,293 (ex-showroom), which makes it Rs 18,000 expensive than the Yamaha R15 V4, which is its primary rival. In terms of the design, it features the exactly same styling as the RC 200.
The sub-frame has been painted in the KTM Orange colour, and the side panels feature the RC stickers with the aggressive multi-colour layout. Meanwhile, the rider position is quite aggressive, which has been a trait of all the RC models.
In terms of features, the bike is well-equipped, as it gets a big LCD console with Bluetooth connectivity, LED headlight and taillight, LED turn signals, a dual-channel ABS, 17-inch alloys, and more.
Powering the RC 160 is the 164.2cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that also powers the 160 Duke. This engine is rated for 18.7 bhp of peak power and 15.5 Nm of peak torque. It is paired to a 6-speed gearbox along with a slipper clutch.
The visible hardware in the video includes the WP Apex USD forks at the front, a pre-load adjustable monoshock suspension at the rear, 17-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres, etc.
As the bike has already started reaching the dealerships, we can safely assume that a detailed price list will soon be released officially by KTM in the coming days.
