What is special about the Benelli TRK 602 X?
Benelli has taken the cover off its TRK 502’s replacement model. The new TRK 602 X has been revealed with an updated design that features a revised frame, a new aluminium tubular front section to support the headstock and the instrument console, and a reworked sub-frame that offers 825 mm of seat height.
Apart from the revised chassis, the bike also gets a new front beak with the sharp and sleek headlight, revised rider ergonomics for a more comfortable ride, and a new, bigger TFT console with multi-functional options like ride modes, ABS modes, navigation, etc.
Meanwhile, the bike now features a slightly bigger 554cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled motor that offers 55 bhp and 54 Nm of peak power and torque. It is paired to a 6-speed transmission with a slipper clutch.
It also features a revised air intake box design and a new exhaust system for a smoother and punchy ride experience. The bike rides on USD front forks and a fully adjustable rear monoshock, offering 140 mm and 173 mm of travel, respectively.
The braking duties are done by the twin 320cc front discs and a 260 mm rear disc brake. The bike rides on a 19-inch front and a 17-inch rear tubeless spoke wheel setup.
Benelli is expected to debut the new TRK 602 X in Europe later this year. We suspect that it will be introduced in India next year.
