BMW GS Experience training programme announced for 2026

The 2026 GS Experience has been introduced across nine cities in India. BMW Motorrad has announced that it will start the GS Experience from Chandigarh on February 14-15, which will later extend to the other cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Pune, Hyderabad, Kochi, and Chennai.

The new GS Experience has been carefully crafted for all the GS ADV owners. The minimum eligibility to attend this event is to have a GS motorcycle and BMW-approved riding gear, including riding pants, gloves, jacket, enduro boots, and an ECE/DOT-certified helmet.

BMW is accepting a total of 40 participants at each location, including 20 riders with GS 310, while the rest are with 650cc and above models. All riders will be trained simultaneously with individual tracks built for both categories. The official registration can be done via the online BMW Motorrad website or by visiting the offline showroom. The registration is on a first-come first-serve basis.

Speaking of the details, the riding training programme includes two levels: Level 1 and Level 2. The Level 1 includes the basic training that makes the participants become familiar with the bike, learn body positioning, steering techniques, emergency braking, and riding on slopes. Once completed, the participants are automatically eligible for the Level 2, which includes a far more complex training.

The Level 2 makes the participants learn sand and gravel riding techniques, off-camber sections, figure-of-eight training drills, recovery techniques, and manuevering tight turns. Level 2 also includes mastering the Enduro Pro mode that shifts the bike into a hardcore off-road-ready machine.

The detailed schedule of the BMW GS Experience 2026 is as follows:
