Nissan sweetens the deal on Magnite with finance offer

Key highlights

  • Interest rates start at 5.55 percent for all CIBIL eligible customers
  • Up to 100 percent on-road funding including registration and insurance
  • Extra benefits up to ₹22,000 for customers financing through NRFSI

Nissan Motor India Private Limited has rolled out an aggressive finance scheme for the Nissan Magnite, and it is clearly aimed at pulling fence-sitters into showrooms. The headline number is hard to ignore. Interest rates start at 5.55 percent for eligible CIBIL customers. That is among the lowest in the segment right now.

The scheme runs through Nissan Renault Financial Services India and covers Magnite bookings made until the end of March 2026. Buyers can finance up to 100 percent of the on-road price. That includes registration, insurance, and other applicable charges. In simple terms, you could drive home without draining your savings account.

Lower EMI, longer tenure

Nissan says the offer delivers a clear EMI advantage compared to leading banks. The 5.55 percent rate applies to a INR 5 lakh loan amount. Customers can choose a tenure of up to seven years. That gives flexibility, especially for first-time buyers and young families upgrading from a hatchback.

There are practical benefits too. Nissan allows part payments. It waives foreclosure charges after 24 months. The loan process is largely digital, except for KYC and RTO paperwork. There is also priority processing, a 24×7 WhatsApp chatbot, and dedicated customer support. These may sound routine, but they reduce friction.

Customers who opt for finance through NRFSI can unlock additional benefits worth up to INR 22,000. Existing Nissan owners get extra loyalty add-ons. That makes the deal sweeter if you are already part of the brand’s ecosystem.

Why this matters for Magnite

The Magnite remains Nissan’s strongest card in India. It competes in the hot sub-4 metre SUV space against heavy hitters like the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, and Maruti Suzuki Brezza. Price sensitivity drives this segment. Monthly EMI often decides the winner.

By lowering the entry barrier, Nissan is not just pushing volumes. It is also protecting the Magnite’s value proposition. The SUV already offers turbo petrol performance, a CVT option, wireless connectivity, and a decent safety package at a competitive price. Now the finance math looks stronger too.
