Mahindra has begun the road testing phase of its upcoming Born Electric three-row SUV. The upcoming BE 07 EV was recently spotted in Pune with complete camouflage. Read below what to expect from it.

What to expect from the Mahindra BE 07?
The first spy shot of the upcoming BE 07 reveals a Range Rover-like silhouette of Mahindra’s upcoming electric SUV. Likely to be positioned below the XEV 9E, the BE 07 will offer a more rugged design with a conventional boxy shape.
Look closely, and you can easily spot the sharp LED headlights with vertical inserts in the front bumper, hinting that the current design language seen on the Mahindra EVs will be carried forward. Meanwhile, the side profile gets a prominent shoulder line and a big glass area that hints towards an airy cabin.
The wheels are also covered, and we suspect that these are 20-inch or 21-inch in size. Interestingly, the rear quarter panel does not have a tapering roofline as we saw on the concept version. We suspect that this has been done to preserve the headroom on the last row and offer more cargo space.
Since the BE 07 will share the platform with the XEV 9E, we expect the same battery pack options to be offered on it as well. Therefore, the maximum range on offer will be easily 500 km or more.
In terms of features, it will come fully loaded with modern tech, including the triple screens, Boss Mode, glass roof, ADAS safety, drive and regen modes, and more. The expected launch timeline of the BE 07 is next year, and it will be positioned around Rs 25 lakh.
