What to expect from the Citroen eC3 Live variant?
Citroen has recently registered the Live variant of the eC3 on the Government e-Marketplace. The Live variant will become the new base variant of the eC3, thus undercutting the Feel variant by Rs 2.60 lakh.
Currently, the eC3 is priced at Rs 12.90 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Feel variant. With the Live variant, Citroen has registered 46% localisation on the digital portal of the government. The lower price tag will likely attract chauffeur-driven customers and taxi operators.
The Live variant will offer all basic features, including all power windows, central locking, digital drive console, battery regen meter, app connectivity, manually adjustable mirrors, and R15 steel rims. The fleet cars will be delivered with a speed governor that will cap the top speed at 80 km/h.
Mechanically, it will be identical to the rest of the variants. It will be powered by the 29.2 kWh battery pack that offers 57 bhp and 143 Nm. This air-cooled LFP battery pack delivers a claimed range of 320 km, while the real-world range stands near 220-230 km.
With that said, Citroen will likely update the other two Feel and Shine variants with more features.
