Maruti Suzuki has added 502 new service touchpoints in FY2025-26. That is its highest-ever expansion in a single financial year. With this, its total network now stands at 5,926 touchpoints across India.
Let’s be honest. People do not just buy cars nowadays. They buy peace of mind and this is where Maruti plays a different game.
While everyone else talks about features and design, Maruti keeps building its service network. Quietly, consistently, and very aggressively.
Now think about it. 3,000 cities and towns. That means whether you are in a metro or somewhere off the highway, chances are there is a Maruti service point nearby. That kind of reach is hard to beat.
Maruti has expanded across multiple formats. You get ARENA and NEXA service workshops, Maruti Suzuki Sales and Service Points, and even mobile solutions like Service-on-Wheels and Bodyshop-on-wheels.
Instead of making customers come to the service centre, Maruti is increasingly taking service to the customer. That is a big shift, especially for smaller towns and remote areas.
To put things in perspective, Maruti took around 14 years to reach its first 1,000 service touchpoints. Now, it has added nearly 2,000 in just the last five years. That tells you how seriously the company is investing in after-sales. And it is not stopping anytime soon. The target is to reach around 8,000 touchpoints by FY2030-31.
Here is the reality. Fancy features can attract buyers. But service keeps them. A strong network reduces ownership stress. It improves resale value. It builds trust. This is also why Maruti continues to dominate sales charts year after year. Because when a buyer compares options, this network quietly becomes the deciding factor.
