2026 Tata Tiago EV: Everything we know so far
Tata Motors has released an online teaser of its upcoming Tiago EV. The updated Tiago EV is scheduled to launch in India on May 28. Meanwhile, its teaser shows us the new exterior details, which look fantastic.
Starting with the front, the EV gets a completely redesigned fascia. The LED headlights are now more squared-off with sleek DRLs, while the connecting grille is painted in body colour.
Tata logo resides in the centre of the closed grille, which is accentuated by a new bumper design that embodies the vertical air dams on the sides and a lower grille with sharp vertical slats for aero flow.
The size looks similar to the current Tiago EV, but the side profile of the new model gets new, bigger mirrors with 360-degree camera units, and new aerodynamic dual-tone alloy wheels as well.
Following the front design is the rear, where the new Tiago EV features a set of new LED taillights, connected by a black highlight. The taillights are also blacked out to match the dual-tone paint shade of the range-topping models. Meanwhile, the rear bumper has also undergone a massive redesign with a cleaner outlook and big vertical reflectors on both sides.
The online teaser does not reveal the interior details, but we can safely assume that the new Tiago EV will get a bigger infotainment screen, a new digital driver console, a redesigned steering wheel, and more features like a 360-degree camera, wireless charging, an updated sound system, etc.
Meanwhile, the battery options and range are likely to remain unaltered. The current Tiago EV offers a 19.2 kWh battery pack (61 bhp, 110 Nm) with 223 km range, and a 24 kWh battery pack (75 bhp, 114 Nm) with 293 km claimed range.
With that said, the price list and the complete details of the new Tiago EV will be unveiled on May 28. Until then, stay tuned.
