2026 Honda City facelift ARAI mileage details
As per the official data, the new City facelift offers an ARAI-claimed fuel efficiency of 17.77 km/l for the 1.5-litre 6-speed manual version. Meanwhile, the 1.5-litre CVT automatic version offers a slightly better efficiency of 17.97 km/l.
On the other hand, the 1.5-litre e:HEV or strong hybrid with self-charging technology, delivers a claimed figure of 27.26 km/l. However, this powertrain is offered only on the top-spec ZX+ variant, and it is priced at Rs 21 lakh (ex-showroom).
With that said, these figures are acceptable, and some users even report that the City delivers higher than the claimed efficiency if driven with a light foot. On the other hand, its rivals, like the Hyundai Verna, Skoda Slavia, and Volkswagen Virtus, also offer a claimed fuel economy in the same ballpark.
Mind you, the City facelift packs a 40-litre fuel tank, which equates to a good highway range, leading to fewer fuel stops.
