Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch the updated Brezza next month in India. The compact SUV will witness its first makeover in the second generation.
What to expect from the 2026 Maruti Brezza facelift?
The new Brezza facelift has been spotted multiple times in camouflaged form, and we have an overall idea of what the new car will bring with it. The first change will be the new exterior design, which will mostly remain unaltered, save for the mild updates to the headlights, new bumpers, and new alloys. Maruti could also add new colours to the Brezza.
On the inside, the cabin is most likely to offer new features. These are expected to include the likes of front ventilated seats, electric seat adjustment, a new digital instrument console, and a new cabin theme.
However, the biggest update is likely to happen under the bonnet. Online reports suggest that the Brezza facelift will bring a new turbo petrol engine option. This unit could be smaller than 1.2 litres to enjoy the tax benefits of the GST 2.0 slabs. Moreover, the previously spotted test car was seen equipped with a new 6-speed manual transmission, which we suspect will be offered on the turbo engine option.
Meanwhile, the 1.5-litre petrol and the CNG engine options are most likely to remain unaltered. The CNG, however, could feature the new underbody CNG tank placement like the Victoris. This would free up space in the boot, which remains a big problem on the current version.
