Kawasaki has rolled out a new offer on the Ninja 650 for July 2026. The Japanese sports bike manufacturer is offering a touring windshield for the new Ninja 650 this month for free.
The touring windshield that costs Rs 26,440 otherwise will be offered as standard equipment for new customers. Mind you, this windshield is 9 cm higher and 4 cm wider than the regular windshield, which makes it far more comfortable for the rider to ride the motorcycle at higher speeds.
Apart from the windshield, the rest of the motorcycle is completely unaltered. The Ninja 650 is positioned as a middleweight sports-tourer, which offers a mix of sportsbike performance, a semi-committed riding stance, and a comfortable suspension for long-distance touring.
The Ninja 650 is equipped with a 649cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine that has been tuned for a comfortable and punchy mid-range performance. It produces 67 bhp and 64 Nm of power and torque, and it comes paired with a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch.
The Ninja 650 is suspended over a steel trellis frame and a set of USD front forks and a monoshock suspension at the rear. The monoshock suspension can also be adjusted for preload and compression.
In terms of features, the bike comes loaded with dual-pod LED headlights, an LED taillight, a digital TFT console with colour display and Bluetooth compatibility that offers turn-by-turn navigation support, SMS and call alert, riding modes, Kawasaki Traction Control system, and more. The Ninja 650 also gets a dual-channel ABS as a standard fitment for safety.
The Ninja 650 competes with the Honda CBR650R. However, the Honda CBR650R is priced at an extremely steep rate of Rs 11.16 lakh in India, and it was recently updated with Honda’s E-Clutch technology.
