Yamaha India has reintroduced the MotoGP Edition versions of the R15 V4 sportsbike and the MT-15 naked sportsbike. Both models feature the special decals inspired by the Yamaha Factory Racing Team motorcycles used in the MotoGP.

The R15 V4 MotoGP Edition is priced at Rs 1,76,050 (ex-showroom). It is based on the range-topping M variant, and it gets a special black/blue livery with Monster branding decals on the side fairing, a matte black fuel tank, race partner brand decals on the lower fairing, and blacked-out mechanical parts, including the engine components, alloy wheels, etc.

On the other hand, the MT-15 MotoGP Edition is priced above the R15 V MotoGP. It is available at Rs 1,77,230 (ex-showroom), which makes it Rs 13,000 more expensive than the standard version. The MT-15 also follows a similar trend of decals and colour scheme that is inspired by the company’s factory racing team units from the MotoGP. The naked sportsbike features a matte black base paint that is accentuated by the use of Yamaha Racing Blue colour highlights, Monster branding on the fuel tank shrouds, and race partner decals on the belly guard.

Since both iterations are purely cosmetic, no changes have been no changed made to their mechanical setup or the list of features. Both models get a projector LED headlight, LED taillight, a coloured TFT console with Bluetooth connectivity, a dual-channel ABS, etc.

Powering these models is the 155cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder motor that makes a healthy 18.1 bhp of power and 14.2 Nm of torque output. This powertrain is mated to a 6-speed transmission with a slipper clutch as standard. Both MotoGP Edition models are now available nationwide.
