KTM India has revised the prices of the 390 Adventure range in India. The S and R variants of the 390 ADV are now costlier by Rs 8,000. Apart from the price correction, KTM has made no other changes to the dual-sport motorcycle.
KTM 390 Adventure S & R latest prices
The latest price hike has made the 390 Adventure S and R models more expensive than ever before. With a uniform hike of Rs 8,000 on the sticker price, the off-road-centric 390 Adventure R is now priced at Rs 3.86 lakh (ex-showroom). Meanwhile, the range-topping 390 Adventure S is now positioned at Rs 4.05 lakh (ex-showroom), making it the first 390 KTM in India positioned above the Rs 4 lakh mark.
With that said, KTM has not made any other changes to these variants. The S variant is a road-focused version that rides on the 21-inch front and 17-inch rear tubeless alloy wheels, and it comes loaded with a more accessible seat height of 830 mm. Meanwhile, the R variant focuses on off-road use, and it gets a long-travel suspension with 230 mm travel on both ends, along with spoked tubeless rims and a higher seat height of 880 mm.
Both variants get the LED projector headlight, LED daytime running light, LED turn signals and LED taillights. The taller windscreen helps in touring on both versions, and the rally-tower-like placement of the coloured TFT console offers a good view of the vitals on the go. KTM has also equipped these models with a six-axis IMU, offering features like cruise control, cornering ABS, switchable traction control, three ride modes (Street, Rain, and Off-road), along with Bluetooth connectivity that adds music controls, navigation, SMS/call alerts, etc.
Interestingly, both models continue to be powered by the 399cc liquid-cooled engine, as opposed to the new downsized 349cc unit that is offered on the 390 Adventure (without any suffix). With that said, the new prices are now applicable across India.
