Honda Elevate facelift gets connected lights and a more premium cabin

Key highlights

  • Updated Elevate gets connected LED lighting at both ends and a revised grille
  • Cabin receives lighter upholstery, revised dashboard trim and ambient lighting
  • India launch is scheduled for October 6, with bookings already open at Rs 21,000

Honda has revealed more details of the 2026 Elevate facelift through a fresh set of teasers ahead of its October 6 launch. The updated SUV retains the basic silhouette of the current model but gets a noticeably revised lighting signature and front-end treatment.

The front now features three horizontal illuminated elements positioned between the slim LED DRLs, creating a connected look across the upper fascia. The grille gets a new geometric pattern, while the Honda badge has been moved onto the bonnet.

At the rear, the facelift introduces connected LED tail-lamps, with illuminated strips extending across the tailgate towards the central Honda emblem. This gives the Elevate a wider visual appearance than the outgoing model.

Cabin gets a lighter, more premium look

The interior changes focus primarily on materials and ambience. The existing faux-wood-style passenger-side dashboard trim appears to have been replaced by light-coloured, stitched leatherette-style upholstery, with similar treatment extending onto the door panels.

Amber ambient lighting runs underneath the dashboard trim and along the doors. Honda is also expected to introduce additional equipment with the facelift, although the complete feature list will only be confirmed at launch.

A teaser also shows the inside rear-view mirror with a wide view of the road. This has led to speculation about a digital IRVM, but Honda has not confirmed whether the facelift will get a camera-based rear-view mirror.

Petrol engine likely stays unchanged

The Elevate facelift is expected to retain the existing 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, which produces 121hp and 145Nm. It is currently offered with a six-speed manual and a CVT, and these transmission options are expected to continue.

Honda has not confirmed the complete mechanical or feature specification yet. Reports have also pointed to possible additions such as ventilated front seats, panoramic sunroof and a factory-fitted 360-degree camera, but these remain unconfirmed.

Launch and bookings

Pre-bookings for the new Elevate are already open at Honda dealerships for Rs 21,000. India will be the first market globally to receive the facelift, with the official launch and pricing scheduled for October 6, 2026.
